Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled experience will receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 24 – 48 hours may receive a 50% refund or rescheduling credit depending on availability.

Cancellations made under 24 hours of the experience are non-refundable.

Trips may be canceled due to unsafe ocean or weather conditions. In that case guests may reschedule or receive a full refund.

Late arrivals may result in shortened experience time depending on the situation.

Common Questions

  • Surfboards, leashes, rash guards if needed, boat transportation for boat experiences, and water or light refreshments.

  • Beach surf lessons meet at Waikīkī Beach near Hula Mound in front of the Duke Kahanamoku statue.

    Boat experiences meet at Ala Wai Boat Harbor. Detailed instructions will be sent after booking.

    Optional items include a hat, waterproof camera, or personal surf equipment.

  • Please see our cancellation policy to the left. We try our best to help reschedule whenever possible.

  • If guests are prone to seasickness we recommend taking Dramamine or Bonine about one hour before the trip.

  • Apply sunscreen before arrival, eat a light meal beforehand, and hydrate well.

  • Water and light refreshments are provided. Guests can also add the ARVO Café food add-on.

  • Yes. Tsunami Surf Adventures operates with commercial insurance and licensed boat operations where applicable.

  • No, surfboards can be provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own boards.

  • We provide longboards, beginner soft-top boards, and performance longboards depending on the guest’s experience level.

  • Guests may bring snacks, drinks, small coolers, cameras, and personal surf equipment. Alcohol is allowed in moderation for private charters only.

  • Glass containers, illegal substances, or large coolers without prior approval.
